Please see the default settings in below question. If those settings work for you, you don’t need to configure Doorsound .
Doorsound comes with chime feature enabled for easy installation. You can turn this off anytime. If the refrigerator or freeze door is left open;
- for one minute you will hear a short five second gentle alert
- if the door is still open after two minutes you will hear fifteen second, medium level reminder.
- If the door continues to stay open or ajar for another minute (total of three minutes), you will hear a loud alarm for thirty seconds.
Please remember that Doorsound is fully configurable so you can change and customize any of these settings according to you needs. You can also set up an text reminders additional to or instead of alarm notifications.
