Product Warranty

Limited Warranty (Doorsound)

Arka Innovation LLC (“Arka”) warrants to the original end user (“Customer”) that the Doorsound product (“Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.

This limited warranty applies only to products purchased new from Arka Innovation or an authorized seller, and used in accordance with the Product instructions.

What This Warranty Covers

If Arka determines that the Product is defective in materials or workmanship during the warranty period, Arka will, at its option:

• Repair the Product, or
• Replace the Product with a new or refurbished unit, or
• Refund the purchase price of the Product (in whole or in part)

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover issues caused by, related to, or resulting from:

• Improper installation, misuse, abuse, negligence, or accident
• Tampering, modification, or unauthorized repairs
• Normal wear and tear (including adhesive failure due to mounting surface conditions)
• Misalignment or shifting of the sensor/magnet over time
• Battery depletion, battery leakage, or the use of incorrect batteries
• Environmental conditions (e.g., moisture/water exposure beyond intended use)
• Wi-Fi/router/internet service issues, network changes, signal strength, ISP outages, firewall settings, or app notification settings
• Failure to test the Product after installation and weekly thereafter as instructed

Important: Doorsound relies on correct placement and ongoing alignment between the sensor and magnet. If the distance/orientation changes due to vibration, cleaning, temperature changes, or mounting surface conditions, detection performance may be affected.

Product Use and Safety Notice

To ensure proper operation:

• Install the Product according to the included instructions.
• Test immediately after installation and weekly thereafter.
• Verify periodically that all components remain firmly mounted and aligned.

Swallowing small parts (such as a magnet or battery) may be harmful. Keep out of reach of children.

Disclaimer (Not Insurance / Not a Guarantee)

Customer understands that a properly installed and maintained alarm may reduce risk of loss, but it does not eliminate risk. This Product is not insurance and is not a guarantee that an event will not occur or that loss, damage, or injury will not result. The Product is not a replacement for supervision.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arka Innovation LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to food spoilage, loss of contents, property damage, or financial loss, arising from or related to the use of the Product or a claim that the Product failed to alert or perform as expected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To request warranty support, please contact us with:

• Your name and contact information
• Proof of purchase (order number/receipt)
• A brief description of the issue
• Photos of the installation (sensor + magnet placement), if applicable
  

If a return is needed, Arka will provide instructions. Do not send a product back without contacting support first.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction.
